About

Pixel Trails started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of mobile games on the bus home. At some point we figured the notes we were writing to each other were more useful than most of the stuff we were reading online, so we turned them into a small site.,We focus on RPGs and adventure games because that's what we love, but we also cover strategy, racing, and the odd casual thing that surprises us. Every game on the site gets installed and played by a real person on a real phone, not judged from a trailer.,We pick titles in a simple way: something catches our eye, one of us plays it for several sessions, and if there's anything interesting to say, we write it down. If a game bores us halfway through, we say that too.,There's no sponsor telling us what to praise. The reviews are opinions, and we try to explain the reasoning behind every score so you can disagree with us sensibly.

Anna Keller — Anna has been playing handheld and mobile games since the GBA days and coordinates what gets reviewed on the site. She mostly plays turn-based RPGs and refuses to feel bad about it.
